WORKSHOPS FOR SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN GRADES K-5 WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Oak Park Temple’s Jewish School provides High Holy Day workshops for children in kindergarten through 5th grade during the adult morning service on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
SCHEDULE
The workshops begin at 10:00 am on both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Both programs end with the conclusion of the adult morning services, around 12:30 pm. Students will participate in age-appropriate High Holy Days worship, hear the Shofar on Rosh Hashanah morning and participate in holiday based learning activities. Weather permitting we will enjoy outdoor programming on both holidays. Children should bring a nut-free bag lunch or big snack to help make it through the morning!
