Noah Gottschalk – Senior Director, International Advocacy
Noah Gottschalk is Senior Director for International Advocacy  (interim) & International Jewish Community Relations, where he leads the organization’s efforts to build a global Jewish movement for refugee protection and welcome. Noah has two decades of experience promoting the human rights of people impacted by conflict, natural disasters, and displacement, and has spent much of his career living and working in countries experiencing complex crises in the Middle East and Africa. He has testified before Congress and the European Parliament and provided guidance to a wide range of US officials and policymakers at the UN Security Council, European Union, and African Union to ensure government policies are driven by the priorities of impacted people. In addition to advocacy work, Noah’s experience includes managing humanitarian programs and providing legal assistance to refugees, asylum-seekers, internally displaced persons, and immigrants. A frequent media commentator, Noah’s analysis has been featured in a wide range of US and international radio, print, and television outlets. He holds an MA in International Human Rights Law from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and a BSFS from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
